Purchasing
a patented Mining Claim allows you
to enjoy the same benefits as any other
privately-held real estate property
owner.
By mining a property and applying for a
patent, Mineral County was able to
acquire land from the federal government.
The property became "real" property
when the government issued deeds and
the property transferred into private
ownership. Although this land was held
by a patented mining claim, many of
them were never mined and so remained
untouched.
Patented Mining Claims differ from unpatented
in that patented transfers ownership
of land and unpatented does not.
Understanding that only 4% of Mineral County
is privately owned, patented mining
claims are primary and are looked at
in high regard in this area.
These remote pieces of land are granted
with the most beautiful sites, trees
and privacy this side of the Continental
Divide. |
